i always say sam is inuit i guess but sometimes i feel like he ended up that way bc of stereotypes u feel me
but its rly,,, i feel like it's too late to fix it
there's a ridiculous amount of tribes in Alaska and only about 3 or 4(?) in the Eskimo-Aleut family that people usually associate with Inuit people (tho inuit is only one of the tribes in it, there's also yup'ik (which is similar to Inuit) and the tribes in the aleutian islands i think)
but anyway all the tribes are so different its sorta
impossible to include them all in one character i guess
and i don't feel like it's very fair to make an alaska and say he's just one thing when alaska is so ,,, idk it has a lot of variety I guess?
especially since Inuit is just a very,,, small fraction of all the tribes really,,
ngl in my mind I always saw him leaning more towards the tribes in the south half of the state since from the way i view his history as a character it looks more like he grew up in the southern part of the state for the first part of his life
and yeah idk it's complicated and i don't know what to do ;__; )
